Blog’s First Birthday🎂

The same day, a year ago I started this blog based on nature as a pastime. I captured herbs, blossoms and artistic sunsets which somehow made me feel refreshing. I clicked them all and started them sharing here.

This day is an important one as I wasn’t expecting that I would even come this long on WordPress, as I had shortage of content but, anyhow I have reached here only because of your kind support and encouragement.

During this one year journey, my blog was awarded with, GAMBA Blogging Award, which encouraged me to use my blog to spread peace among WordPress community and contribute to environment conservation. After this, I started sharing articles on environment, people and science, writing them seemed fascinating to me so, I continued writing more.

Another thing that I want to say is that, I gained a lot of scientific and moral knowledge while searching content for this blog. Thus, my blog doesn’t only help me to improve writing skills but, it also helped me to learn more in field of science.

The main objective of my blog is to spread good vibes among reader and for my personal development, to build a better sense of belongingness with the world.

Overall, I enjoyed starting this blog and sharing my thoughts with my WordPress family. Thank you so much for being so encouraging and supporting.❤

We, the human beings.
We feel.
We love.
We struggle.
We communicate.
We inspire.

I believe that the people around us are a source of great encouragement and motivation so, today’s post is about some people from my circle to make this day special.

Nandinee Sarkar, Singer

Nandinee learned music from her mother, by singing with her and by listening to her when she taught music to children.

During initial days at school, her classmates already had their specific groups and she faced difficulty in making friends. But, by participating in singing competitions, she gathered a lots of appreciation from her teachers and classmates (who also made her good friend). Besides her higher education, she kept on creating a supportive circle of singers around her and kept on winning hearts through soulful voice.

She says that singing is her alternative career option as there’s lack of stability in the music industry but, she is giving her best to let the world know her amazing talent. She is also looking for opportunities to take part in reality shows.

You can listen to her songs here.

“When I was six years old I used to accompany my sisters in dance, and by learning from them, I started taking part in dance competitions in school. My teachers, classmates and seniors appreciated my skills. Later on, I got very much inclined towards painting. My drawing teacher had a major role in this because she encouraged me and supported me alot to refine my art. She treated me like her daughter and I felt blessed to have her in my life. At that time, I was struggling a lot while making bonds with my friends but, through painting, I gained confidence and a comfort zone in it. In standard six itself, I participated in All India Painting Competition on the theme “Save Water” organized by Water Commission of India. Luckily, I got selected with fifty other talented participants and we went to Lucknow for the second round. I was selected in top 10 participants and it was a proud moment for me and my parents, who were there with me. I still paint…but, there is no excitement for rewards anymore. The outcome itself is a reward. I love holding this power by which I can express my perspective through sketching and colouring , singing and dancing.”

Ananya Karmakar, Artist

“Art was something I always liked but never got that opportunity to fully focus on it, and give it all my time. But thanks to Lockdown, due to which I got ample time to focus on my hobby / passion. Earlier when I was probably in 2nd /3rd standard, I started pursuing Art classes but then left it since I wasn’t able to balance between it and my studies. After that I used to only draw wherever it was needed in my school curriculum but not for my own pleasure. But since may 2020, I started exploring different artforms like Mandalaz Watercolor, Pencil Sketch,Brush Calligraphy , Madhubani painting. Hoping to explore more slowly. I now know what my hobby is. Earlier I didn’t have any particular one. So I’m happy about the thing that I now create artworks for myself, for my happiness. Thank you 😊❤️”

She shares her lovely art works and tutorials here.

My heartiest wishes for all the inspiring and powerful women around the world.

International women’s day is not just a day dedicated to women rather it’s a celebration:

For victory of unbiased mindset over the stereotypes of society regarding women.
