📌Mosses are the tiny plants having no root rather they have root like structures called rhizoids.

📌They are found everywhere except for the salty areas.

📌They lack vascular tissues. They do not flower.

📌They grow at the places which are not polluted thus, acting as pollution indicators. Their only source of nutrient is the air so the quality of air determines their growth.

📌They evolved from the algae and are the first land plants who inhabited the Earth.

📌They have very important ecological significance as they avoid soil erosion by strongly binding with the soil.

📌They were used as bandages in the First World War to heal the soldiers because of their antiseptic properties.

📌They spread in large areas and have texture of carpet.

📌The black rose actually does not exists rather it is dark reddish crimson colour.

While clicking these pictures, I thought they would be just weeds but, surprisingly, they all are of great medicinal use.

Commonly known as violet woodsorrel or sour grass.
The herb has many medicinal properties like it is a blood purifier and anthelmintic (Able to destroy parasitic worms).
Clicked this because of its heart shaped leaves.

It is uses as folk medicine in treatment of asthma and bronchitis.
Small leaves, small flowers and the herb spread in a large area(Only a part in pic).

Phyllabthus niruri

Phyllabthus niruri
Also called Chanca pierre.
It is one of the Amazon rainforest herbs and used in treatment of kidney stones.
Just loved the pattern of leaves.
