Scientifically known as Turnera diffusa. This flower is native to United States, Central America, Mexico, South America and Carribean. The flowers are small and aromatic. It has a good medicinal value. It is used to treat mental disorders, depression and many more.

📌Mosses are the tiny plants having no root rather they have root like structures called rhizoids.

📌They grow at the places which are not polluted thus, acting as pollution indicators. Their only source of nutrient is the air so the quality of air determines their growth.

📌They evolved from the algae and are the first land plants who inhabited the Earth.

📌They have very important ecological significance as they avoid soil erosion by strongly binding with the soil.

📌They were used as bandages in the First World War to heal the soldiers because of their antiseptic properties.

📌They spread in large areas and have texture of carpet.
